Centralized Reporting
Comprehensive reporting tools provide our security team with real-time and historical trend analysis and security review. Centralized logging enables logging of remote security devices. Logs are securely transferred across an IPSec VPN tunnel to ensure confidentiality and integrity of the sensitive log data. Log files can be viewed directly and filtering done to search for specific information for detailed research and analysis. Logs can also be archived to other long term storage media. There are two monitoring components provided through the managed service. This monitoring infrastructure provides system health, detection of anomalies, and incident correlation. Integrated platform monitoring allows TierPoint security analysts to monitor CPU, memory, sessions, network utilization, antivirus and intrusion history for a specified time. Device groups and individual devices can be monitored and thresholds configured for alerting. Other vital statistics on overall device health is also available. Long term historical trend analysis of device performance and health is accomplished by a secondary system. This provides monitoring backup in the event the primary method was to become unavailable.
