Jordan/Zalaznick Advisers is a private equity firm that manages JZ Capital Partners and JZ International LLC, with approximately $2 billion in assets. Mr. Zalaznick is also co-founder of The Jordan Company, a private equity firm with over $8 billion in committed capital. Jordan/Zalaznick Advisers, Inc. has offices in New York, Chicago and London.
Mr. Zalaznick and his partner Jay Jordan founded The Jordan Company in 1982. Mr. Zalaznick and Mr. Jordan formed JZ Advisers in 1986 to advise JZ Capital Partners Limited, a Guernsey-based, private equity fund listed on The London Stock Exchange. Over the past thirty years, Mr. Zalaznick and his partners have completed over one hundred platform acquisitions and more than two hundred add-on acquisitions located throughout the US, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Zalaznick received his BA in Economics from Cornell University and MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Cornell University, having served as Vice Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of the Executive, Private Equity and Investment Committees. He serves on the board of Columbia Business School and is a member of its Executive Committee. He also serves on the board of the Whitney Museum, and is a member of the Executive and Investment Committees as well as serving as Co-Chair of the Corporate Council. He previously served on the boards of The Children’s Museum of Manhattan and American Ballet Theatre.
