Before TierPoint, I was quite unsure about what career path would be best for me and whether or not my skillset would translate to the industry. I soon came to realize that TierPoint offered me an avenue to capitalize on my strengths, which gave me confidence and peace of mind that I had chosen the right industry and company!

TierPoint, as a whole, changes the world by providing top tier services to our customers for their critical IT infrastructure. Many of our customers rely on us to keep their business up and functioning – including healthcare suppliers, government agencies, and insurance providers. Without our guidance and expertise, these customers could experience failures that can cause tangible impact to a person’s life!

In my free time I love to play live music in the STL area! I’m a huge county music fan, so myself and some buddies go out and play the local honkytonks on the weekends.

I got a late start in IT. I went back to college at the age of 38 and got an Associate’s Degree and was hired as soon as I graduated.  This career has afforded me the ability to purchase a home.  I actually look forward to coming to work most mornings. It also gave me more time to spend with my family and friends.

I have a great team that I work with that values my input. More important, I currently have the best boss anyone could work for, and that’s Gus Hoover.  He always makes sure your work life and personal life balances out and shows that he actually cares.

I enjoy reading, especially Stephen King novels.  I also enjoy being around the people I love and that love me. I love to laugh, so you’ll probably catch me watching my guilty pleasure, Golden Girls. And, if I have the time, I’ll drive to Carowinds for the day and get some thrills. I love roller coasters.

Funny! There are so many comedians here at TierPoint. My role allows me the opportunity to work with so many people throughout the organization and there is not a single day that goes by where I don’t laugh!

TierPoint places high value on customer satisfaction and positive customer experience.  I share these values as well and work hard for my customers to be sure the solution they get is the best possible we can offer to them and will be supported well by our internal teams.  I also share the value of family, and appreciate the encouragement to take PTO time, and maintain a good work/life balance as much as possible.  These things are important to me, especially if unexpected events come up.

I have been with the company a long time, but I think that TierPoint can promise new employees a collaborative and supportive environment with opportunity to grow and learn and build a long term career if that person wants to.

In my spare time I like to travel (mostly cruises), hang out with my college age children, exercise and play with my 3 huskies.
