BALTIMORE (August 29, 2017) – TierPoint LLC, a leading national provider of hybrid IT solutions, announced it will build a new state-of-the-art commercial data center in the Baltimore metropolitan area, less than a year after expanding its current Baltimore facility.
TierPoint’s plan calls for approximately 35,000 sq. ft. of total space in BWI Technology Park, with approximately 23,000 sq. ft. of raised floor space. With an initial investment of more than $10 million, the new carrier-neutral facility will include fully redundant and generator-backed power, and diverse high speed network connectivity. The data center will use multi-layer physical security and will meet stringent regulatory compliance standards. The facility will also feature infrastructure support, office and shared work space for clients.

TierPoint expects the new data center to be available to clients in the spring of 2018.
